paper-cut-project

Today, while clicking around skirt.com I stumbled upon paper-cut-project. I love the delicate forms that Atlanta based Nikki Salk and Amy Flurry have created entirely out of paper. Art like this inspires me. I am drawn to everyday forms interpreted in non-traditional / unexpected materials. You can see these creations and more installed at Jeffrey New York and Jeffrey Atlanta January 5 through February 5.

“Flurry and Salk’s custom-made paper art installations are fueled by a love of fashion and an appreciation of the grace and nuance of this humble material.”~ paper-cut-project
